This policy explains how Shenzhen Merryking Electronics Co., Ltd. (“Merryking”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit www.merryking.com, inquire about our products or contact our team. It covers our website and related inquiry handling.

2. Information we collect
- Inquiries and correspondence: your email address, requested quantity and message, plus any name, company, telephone number or other information you choose to provide by form, email or another contact channel.
- Contact and download activity: when you use tracked email or WhatsApp links, we record the channel, link position, page, time and a generated contact reference. The reference may be included in the email subject or WhatsApp message. For datasheet links, we record the product, series, file path, page and time of the click.
- Network and location information: our inquiry, tracked contact and datasheet endpoints record IP addresses. We may derive an approximate country from an IP address using a local GeoIP database; this is not precise GPS location.
- Advertising and usage information: campaign parameters and click identifiers, visited pages, referral information, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Analytics providers may associate visits using their identifiers. Microsoft Clarity supports heatmaps and session replays of website interactions.
- Embedded media: technical or interaction information processed when the YouTube player and other third-party services load.
Please do not include passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal information in an inquiry or message. Our public website does not require a customer account to browse products or submit an inquiry.
3. How we use information
We use information to answer inquiries, prepare quotations, discuss product requirements, provide support, follow up on business requests, operate and protect the website, understand product interest, improve the website and measure advertising performance. Inquiry and contact records may be linked to campaign information to understand which advertising leads to business contacts.
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, the relevant basis depends on the purpose: taking steps at your request before a contract where applicable; our legitimate interests in managing business correspondence, maintaining the website and understanding business demand, subject to your rights; and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Consent is required for certain tracking and advertising activities under applicable law. Legitimate interests do not replace any required cookie consent. The information notice described below does not obtain that consent.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Information is handled by team members who manage inquiries, support and the website, and by providers involved in delivering those functions. The services integrated into the website include:
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads: tag delivery, website analytics and advertising conversion measurement, including tracked contact clicks and successful inquiry events. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Microsoft Clarity: behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replays to help us understand website use. Clarity receives usage information and identifiers, and some Microsoft identifiers also serve advertising purposes. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- YouTube: the embedded company video connects to Google / YouTube and may process device, playback and cookie information. Google's privacy information linked above applies to its own processing.
- Feishu: our inquiry notification integration sends the submitted email address and message to our team through Feishu. See the Feishu Privacy Policy.
- Website infrastructure: hosting, database and content delivery services process information needed to receive requests, store inquiry records and deliver website content.
If you contact us through WhatsApp, email, WeChat or an external store such as Alibaba, the relevant provider also processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to respond to lawful requests or protect legal rights.
6. Your cookie and tracking choices
The bottom privacy notice is informational. Clicking “I understand” only hides the notice and remembers its version in your browser. It does not grant consent to advertising or analytics, and it does not change how those services load. This website does not currently provide a category-based cookie preference center.
You can use browser settings to delete or block cookies and site storage, and use provider controls such as Google My Ad Center or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These controls have different scopes: blocking cookies alone does not necessarily stop network requests or all data collection. Clearing site storage may make the privacy notice reappear. Product browsing, inquiry forms and direct datasheet links do not depend on advertising cookies.

7. International processing
Our team operates in China. Information you submit may be accessed and processed there. The international providers listed above may also process information in other countries, as described in their privacy notices. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Contact us for information about processing locations and any applicable arrangements for your information; this policy does not mean that you have consented to an international transfer.
8. How long we keep information
Retention depends on the purpose and type of information. For inquiries and correspondence, relevant factors include whether a request remains open, ongoing quotation or support needs, our business relationship, and applicable legal or dispute-related requirements. For contact, download, attribution and usage records, the factors include their continuing relevance to understanding product demand, evaluating campaigns and operating the website.
We have not set a single fixed deletion period for these business records, and they are not currently subject to a uniform automatic deletion schedule. You can contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion, subject to applicable requirements. Browser storage durations are described above; deleting a cookie does not by itself delete information already recorded in our systems or by a provider. Providers apply their own retention settings and policies to the information they process.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to or a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. These rights may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

We may request information needed to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically request an appropriate verification method.
You may also complain to the data protection authority in your jurisdiction. In the EU / EEA, this includes your local supervisory authority; in the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
10. Security and children
No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee complete security. Please contact us if you believe information sent to us has been compromised. Our website and products are directed at business customers and are not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
11. Changes and contacting us
We may update this policy when our website, services or information practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. A material update may cause the website's information notice to appear again; acknowledging that notice is not consent to new processing.
